Our Story: From Salt Craft to Pure Hydration
For years, several of us have been crafting salt from pristine deep ocean water here at the our Kona Salt Farm and relying on it ourselves for hydration. Rich in naturally balanced minerals, it became clear that this water was the foundation for an exceptional electrolyte. That is when Kona Pure was born.
Our Site: Hawai‘i Ocean Science & Technology Park
On the sunny Kona Coast, HOST Park gives us access to one of the purest water sources on Earth. Its unique deep-seawater system draws pristine, mineral-rich water from 2,200 feet below the surface, the foundation of Kona Pure. Surrounded by sunshine, ocean innovation, and a community of stewards, it’s the perfect place to create clean, natural electrolytes that honor both people and planet.
Our Values
Guided by island values and a deep respect for Hawai‘i’s natural resources, we chose to package Kona Pure in 100% plastic-free, compostable materials and to give back to the ocean by donating 1% of our revenue to the Papahānaumokuākea Marine Debris Project.
